FAQ
- Make sure the power is available.
- Make sure the power cable is functional.
- Make sure the adapter is functional.
- Make sure the light of the reader shows yellow color when plugging to the MDS.
- Go to the MDS setting page→Basic, and make sure that the Card Type is right.
- Back to the main page, and make sure the light of the reader shows red color when IC card insert to the reader.
- Make sure to use the right cable.
- Make sure the cable plug in the right hole of the device and the left RS232 port of the MDS.
- Set the baud rate to 9600, data bit to 8, parity check to N, and stop bit to 1 if it is enable to modify in the device setting page.
- Go to the MDS setting page→Switch Mode, and select the right device.
- Go to the MDS setting page→Wi-Fi, and make sure it connects to Wi-Fi.
- Make sure the Server computer is functional, and it connects to Wi-Fi. The Server and the MDS must be in the same network.
- Input http://server_ip:8080/MIISWS/empty.jsp in browser, if the page show 404, restart the server computer. (server_ip is mean the server IP)
- Go to the MDS setting page→MDS Server, makes sure the server IP is right.
- Go to the MDS setting page→Wi-Fi, and make sure it connects to Wi-Fi.
- Make sure the computer of the device connects to Wi-Fi, and in the same network with the MDS.
- Go to the MDS setting page→Netbios Setting→Net Path
- Make sure the folder is in the computer and sharable.
- Make sure it is connectable by pressing “test” button.
